Travelling to London can be a dream come true if you can locate an inexpensive way to travel. Just about everyone now-a-days needs to travel on a budget. Naturally not everyone’s budget is even remotely the same. Regardless of what your budget might be you can find accommodations in London that will fit your need. There are numerous budget London hotels that can provide quality accommodations at affordable prices.

Whenever looking for inexpensive accommodations it is a good idea to shop around the internet for some good deals. There are many travel services on the internet that will be glad to help you locate a nice place to stay during your visit to London.

The first thing you should consider is what distract you desire to stay in and how much you hope to spend. Then you can shop around the sites on the internet for the best possible accommodations.

Among the many websites that offer ways to find inexpensive accommodations you will find some sites that can actually offer a savings over other sites. Naturally you will need to browse the internet a little to find the best offerings. Many of these sites will have a list of recommended hotels. In many cases these hotels will start well below $100 a night. In fact you may be surprised to find just how affordable these hotels can be.

There are some ways to find budget London hotels that do not involve browsing the internet. The first thing you should consider is when you want to travel. Often if you hold off travelling during the peak season and elect to take your trip during the off season then you may be able to find the some great deals. In the off season you may be able to find rates that are half of what they would be during peak times.

Another way to save money on your accommodations in London is to travel during the week. Many places see a lull in customer traffic during the middle of the week and consequently reduce the price to attract the guest during this time. You may need to browse around a little in order to find who offers mid-week discounts.

You can also consider traveling with a tour group. Many travel agents can provide you a list of tour groups and when they travel. These groups will provide you an opportunity to get a guided tour of the best spots of the city and will stay at some of the nicest budget London hotels. In fact if you can find out where the tours stay you can have a great base of hotels to select from.

By inquiring about tours and getting tour information from your travel agent you can get a list of the hotels that the tours stay at and then inquire with these hotels yourself to see what their regular rates are. While the rates you are able to get form these hotels may not be the same as the tour, they may be reasonable. Chances are if the tour companies use these hotels then they are clean and affordable.

Travel abroad does not have to be expensive if you know the right places to stay and how to save money. There are numerous budget London hotels that can save you money and still provide quality accommodations. The list of options below should help you locate something that you like.

When traveling anywhere it is always a good idea to get a good feel for the are you intend to visit ahead of time and determine where you intend to spend most of your time. You will also want to consider how close to the attractions you want to be. In the case of traveling to London it is a good idea to decide what neighborhood you want to stay I and then try to find budget London hotels in that area.

Keep in mind that some areas will be more residential than others and that you may be able to save money by staying a little out of the high cost district. One area that is predominantly residential is the neighborhood of Bayswater. This neighborhood is just north of Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, which makes it a great location.

Baywatch has numerous inexpensive accommodations well within a reasonable distance to the park and gardens. Not only is this close to the main attractions of the city but it is also a quiet area, which makes it a great destination when travailing with children.

One such place is the Central Park Hotel; this hotel is located on Queensborough terrace, which is a strip just north of Kensington square. While this hotel is not a historic building it does offer reasonable rates on its rooms, which are all en-suite. This place has over 25 rooms and tends to be offering reasonable rates even during the busiest travel times.

If you are looking to stay in Victorian era hotel and still save money then you should consider the Queen’s park Hotel. This facility is housed in a large Victorian era structure and is also located in Queensburough terrace. This place will provide you a Victorian experience at a budget, but it is not going to provide you luxury or grandeur. However if you are more interested in a good night’s sleep than if there is a fancy chandelier in the lobby then you should feel right at home here.

Kensington is perhaps one of the most popular areas of the city it is also one of the most affluent areas. Although this is the home to Kensington palace the former home of Princess Diana it is not impossible to find an affordable hotel nearby.

What is it about man that thrives on nostalgia? We are all driven by the past – remembering how things were, hoping that we can all make changes for the better. History is what made us all as we are today, and maybe that is why we cannot let go of it.

We are all fascinated with our roots, and even more fascinated with how generations before us coped with life. Luckily there are many reminders carefully preserved in our museums. There are museums on practically every aspect of life, and the vast majority can be found in London.

The British Museum holds a massive collection of world art and artefacts, while the Tate Museum Art Gallery has the largest collection of British art dating back to 1500, and a collection of international modern art. Modern artists can learn a lot by visiting them.

There are still many people who survived the Second World War, and we never tire listening to their experiences. To feed our appetite, The Churchill Museum and Cabinet War Rooms will bring to life all the experiences that have been related to us. If we want to go back even further, then the Imperial War Museum is a national museum of war and wartime life since the First World War.

For those interested in science, the Science Museum and the Natural History Museum are a must. Those interested in art and design, would be delighted with London`s Museum of International and Contemporary Design. For more historical art and design, then the Victoria and Albert Museum would be more to your taste.
People interested in transport would love London`s Transport Museum, and there is even a Museum of Garden History for avid gardeners. Nurses would be amazed at the Florence Nightingale Museum, and Arsenal supporters could visit Arsenal Football Club Museum. There is even a Bank of England Museum.
The list of museums in London is endless, but they provide much education and understanding and are well worth visiting. When visiting London, it would be wise to make a list of your interests and visit them all, making your visit truly memorable.

It may be impossible to get round them all in one day, but fortunately there are many budget hotels close at hand. These offer good service and excellent value for money. After spending a comfortable night, you will be fresh and revived and ready to continue wallowing in nostalgia.

Contact us today if your looking for a Budget London Hotel or Hotels near Olympia London.

If you’re looking for the best shopping experience in the UK then you should be heading for London. Like Paris and New York, London is a great place to shop and has the best variety of shops and markets.

Most of the major international British Brands can be found in the popular shopping areas of Oxford Street, Regent Street and Knightsbridge. Those who have got some serious money to spend should head to New Bond Street and Sloane Street which is home to some of Britain’s most exclusive designer shops.

If you prefer independent smaller fashion shops and boutiques then Convent Garden is the place to head. You can always enjoy a bit of street entertainment here which makes a nice shopping break. Carnaby Street is another area to gravitate towards and offers a nice pedestrianised area with lots of unusual brightly painted shops.

If you’re a music fan and like to find rare vinyl records then you should head to Soho where you will find a number of shops covering all types of music. Book lovers will not have to go far as Waterstone’s and Borders are found all over London . For electrical goods you should head towards Tottenham Court Road and for jewellery Hatton Garden is a must.

If you’re after a bargain you should head to one of the many markets in the city. In north London you will find Archway Market which is open every Saturday and offers a huge variety of organic and speciality food. As well as food you will find many market traders selling antiques and lovely items for your home and kitchen. You will also find jewellery, books, music and pottery at Archway Market. Camden Market is another market in North London which is open 7 days a week and draws in a mixture of people attracted by its reputation for ethnic arts, crafts, jewellery and second hand clothing. Once of the biggest markets in North London is Wembley market which is only open on a Sunday – here you will find over 500 stalls selling everything from sportswear to lingerie and all electrical items. This market is also popular for those looking for car parts and accessories.

The South London offers a mixture of markets. Bermondsey Market is only open on Fridays 5am to 12pm but is the place for antiques and there you will find many dealers and collectors. Brixton Market is one of Europe’s largest Caribbean food markets and is open Monday to Saturday. Greenwich market which is open from Monday to Saturday offers hand-crafted items including paintings and ornaments. For quirky clothes and to see some of the up and coming fashion you should head for Gabriel’s wharf which is only Tuesdays to Sundays.

Portobello Road market is a vibrant interesting market which sells a large variety of items. It may not be quite as large or lively as Camden but it is definitely worth a look. Saturdays are the best days to go as all the stall holders are out compared to the week when its mainly fruit and veg. On a Saturday you will find a large selection of clothing stalls from the usual clothing to more alternative clothing. There are also a number of antique and second hand stalls selling a variety of stuff.

Wherever you choose to shop in London make sure you are wearing a comfy pair of shoes because there will be lots of walking involved. You will be able to use the tube to get around of course but from my experience, once you have chosen your area you can spend all day walking around. Just when you think you’re done another shop or stall catches your eyes, so be prepared and leave the stilettos at home!

Kensington London is located in the postcode of W8 and is home to some the London’s most famous attractions such as the Natural History museum, the Science Museum, the Victoria and Albert Museum and not forgetting the world famous Royal Albert Hall. Earls Court and Olympia Exhibition Centre are within walking distance and one of the most popular tourist attractions in the area is Kensington Palace.

Kensington high street is one of London’s most popular shopping areas and attracts thousands of tourists and visitors each year. Mostly top brands can be found in Kensington as well as the more affordable high street brands. There is an excellent range of supermarkets, cafes, bars in the area and plenty of green spaces such as Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens and Holland Park. South Kensington has a variety of smaller shops and restaurants which are just as popular and attract many visitors.

Kensington is heaped with history. The last Queen Victoria was born at Kensington Palace and continued to live there until her accession to the throne in 1837. More recently Kensington has been known as the home of the late Princess Diana. Originally a country house, but since the death of Diana the Palace has now been opened up to the public. You can now take a tour of the Palace and admire the family portraits and original furnishings. You get a real feel of history in the palace and a trip to Kensington is only complete if you have visited the Palace. You can also take a Princess Diana walk which takes you to many of the places she used to visit.

You won’t be bored in the evening as Kensington is a major centre of London’s nightlife. There are many nightclubs and bars to choose from. Among them are Amika, 20 and Dunes which are just 3 of the many clubs to choose from in the area. Bars are plentiful; you have The Hansom Cab which has recently had a refit which has given it a cosy feel. The Scarsdale is a typical English pub offering good pub grub and is frequented by many of the locals. The Devonshire Arms is another one I want to mention as the selection of beer and wine is by far the best of the lot. It gets very busy with locals as its known to be quiet special and has very tasty food.

Renovated a couple of years back, a former rather boring old man’s pub has now has typical trendy-bar type decor. The selection of beer and wine is top notch, though. Front garden for seating (open all year round if you are brave enough!), the hold barbeques occasionally. Despite numerous other pubs in the Kensington, locals must think something special about this place, as I’ve never seen it anything less than packed. Tasty food, too.

There are plenty of hotels in the area for all budgets. The Derby Hotel is located minutes to Earls court and Gloucester Road tube stations as is Kensington West which is a newly refurbished hotel with all mod cons including flat screen tvs and free wireless internet. You shouldn’t have any trouble finding somewhere to stay and I am sure with a bit of research you will really enjoy your trip to Kensington.

For somewhere cheap to stay in London try one of the Budget London Hotels or Kensington Hotels.
